抱朴是一个道教术语。源见于《老子》“见素抱朴，少私寡欲”。朴指平真、自然、不加任何修饰的原始。抱朴即道家、道教思想中追求保守本真，怀抱纯朴，不萦于物欲，不受自然和社会因素干扰的思想。
